OPEN WATER SWIM SQUAD
 

If you’re eager to build your confidence and competence in open water swimming, our sessions are just what you need! We conduct our open water squad swims every third Sunday of the month, led by Coach Arthur and supported by a qualified lifeguard for your safety while out at sea.
 

These sessions are specifically designed to help swimmers and triathletes of all abilities prepare for multisport events, providing the perfect environment to practice and hone your skills. You can easily register for these sessions using your existing swim squad packages.
 

Our training distances and routes are thoughtfully scaled to accommodate each swimmer’s ability level, open water experience, and buddy pairing familiarity. We also take into account tide and weather conditions, as well as the current phase of your training, ensuring a safe and effective experience tailored to your needs.

Open water swimming can be a significant source of anxiety for many athletes, but nothing compares to the confidence gained through dedicated practice in the ocean. Engaging in proper open water swim sessions equips you with the skills needed to navigate various conditions effectively.
 

In these sessions, you’ll learn how to adjust the length and frequency of your strokes based on factors such as currents, waves, slipstreams, and different sections of the swim course. Mastering these adaptations is essential for becoming a more proficient and confident open water swimmer. Embrace the challenge and transform your anxiety into empowerment—join us in the open water and elevate your swimming experience!

 

The details:

  • Prerequisite of being able to swim 200m of front crawl

  • 2hrs training sessions broken up into skills development and endurance training

  • Certified coaches and lifeguard out at sea to support you

  • Personal safety buoy is mandatory

  • Shower facility available

  • Discount off F&B at Ola Beach Club

Training Packages:

  • $216 SGD for Monthly Unlimited ($18/session) *Billed monthly, minimum 3 months, non-shareable

  • $560 SGD for 20x Session Pass ($28/session) *valid for 24 weeks, non-shareable package

  • $300 SGD for 10x Session Pass ($30/session) *valid for 12 weeks, non-shareable package

  • $40 SGD for 1x Drop-In​​
